Soundhound, the voice AI company known for providing conversational AI services for automotive, connected home and hospitality applications, has raised $25 million in equity for position within the market, according to TechCrunch.
The raise comes after the company laid off approximately 40% of it’s staff earlier this month.
While the company did not provide further details related to whom was involved in the funding round, they did say it was from “a diverse set of financial and strategic investors, both from the current shareholder base and new capital providers.”
