Join the Party with Venzi

Looking for private parties in your area? Then a brand new app can help you find the perfect social gathering, thanks to Fort Lauderdale-based Nicholas Hosein’s new app ‘Venzi’ that aims to make it easier for people to meet new friends in their area.

The interactions initially start via the app, but the true connections happen in person, via a variety of events such as dance parties, board games, and other social events that host around 15 attendees, each of whom need to request to be let in to the gathering.

The app targets young professionals and the events are free to attend, however users are asked to provide a tip based on how enjoyable a particular event was, with an average tip being around $15 in total.

“I’ve always been intrigued by human psychology, as well as the more technical side,” Hosein said of the app, according to Refresh Miami. “I’ve tried to merge that with Venzi to make something that’s automated, but also can bring people together in a community.”

“Tipping is competitive,” he continued. “Your tip score will go up if you tip more than most people and go down if you tip less.”

Venzi, which has been entirely bootstrapped, reported that its MVP provided them $1,000 in revenue during the month of December 2022, and is currently seeking a $250,000 seed fund to continue it’s growth.

“We want it to eventually be such that everybody can walk or take a five minute uber to a Venzi party” Hosein says.
